Transfer photos from iPad to Android tablet

Here are 2 methods to transfer photos between iPad and Android

1. Send Anywhere

Send Anywhere is another cross-platform application that you can use to transfer your data wirelessly from one device to another. Since the application would need Bluetooth to connect the devices and WiFi to transfer your data, you need to ensure that both these features are enabled. Also, make sure that your iPad and Android are placed nearby to establish a secure connection. As of now, Send Anywhere can transfer your photos, videos, documents, and some other data types. To learn how to transfer photos from iPad to Android using Send Anywhere, the following steps can be taken.

Step 1. If you don’t have the Send Anywhere app, then just go to Play/App Store and install the app on your iPad and Android.

Step 2. Now, launch the Send Anywhere app on your iPad and visit its “Photos” section. Simply select the pictures you wish to transfer and choose to send them.

Step 3. Launch Send Anywhere on your Android now and choose to receive files. Place it nearby your iPad and enter a one-time generated code to secure the connection. You can scan the displayed QR code to establish a secure connection as well.

Step 4. That’s it! Once both the devices are connected, just accept the incoming data on your Android and wait for the transfer to be completed.

2. Snapdrop.net

Snapdrop is an open-source web-based file sharing tool that allows you to transfer files between Linux, Android, and iOS devices without the need for a third-party app or software. Snapdrop works by establishing a peer-to-peer connection between the devices using the web browser. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use Snapdrop to transfer files between Linux, Android, and iOS devices.

Step 1. Check that both devices are connected to the same wifi network and placed near to each other, then on each device go to the website Snapdrop.net.

Step 2. You should see the Snapdrop interface with a big blue button showing each device. Select the device you want to share files with by clicking on its name. You can then select “photo library” and select the photos you want to transfer. Once you’ve selected the photos, click on the “add” button.

Step 3. Now you should see “file received” on the receiving tablet. Tap on “save” to save the photos to the new tablet.
