Google Photos

Google Photos can automatically sync between your phone and computer:

  • Automatic backup

With the right settings, Google Photos can automatically back up and sync photos and videos from your phone, tablet, and computer.

  • Access from any device

Once set up, you can access your photos and videos from any device you’re signed into.

  • Edit photos on your phone

Edits you make to photos on your phone will appear the same in Google Photos.

To turn on automatic backup, you can:

  1. Open the Google Photos app
  2. Tap your account profile icon in the top right
  3. Tap Photo settings
  4. Tap Back up & sync

Google Photos has some requirements for the photos and videos it can back up:

  • Photos must be smaller than 200 MB and 150 megapixels
  • Videos must be no larger than 10 GB
  • Images smaller than 256×256 pixels are ignored

If you’re having trouble syncing Google Photos, you can try these steps:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Make sure the Backup and Sync tool is installed and configured correctly
  • Verify that all necessary folders are selected for sync
  • Check that there’s enough storage space on your computer
